Yahoo recently announced that they have raised the renewal rate of all of their domain names to $35 a year. Most of these domains were purchased at huge sale prices as low as $0.99 for the first year. You can imagine how confused and upset many customers are going to be when they first find out about this. Many registrars are noticing flocks of angry customers heading their way with much appreciated business. Thank you Yahoo for showing the world twice in a month just how stupid of a decision a multi-billion dollar company can make.
